These are my new favorite chips in the entire world! Enjoy
SPICY KALE CHIPS
2 heads of kale
1 cup cashews, soaked 1 hour
1 cup nutritional yeast (a vegetarian source of Vitamin B-12)
2 lemons, juiced
1 red pepper
1 tsp turmeric
1 tsp sea salt
1 can of your favorite salsa OR you can just add 5 tomatoes, 1/2 onion, 1/4 cup chopped cilantro, and 1 small jalapeno if desired.
Chop the kale. Blend all other ingredients into a smooth mixture. Add a little water if needed. Put Kale in a bowl and pour all other ingredients over top. Mix together. Lay flat on dehydrator sheets and let dry on 115 degrees until crisp.
